Tag limit increased for Flex Items

Announcement

The number of tags you can add to each individual Flex Item has been increased from 3 to 15. In connection with this update, the Flex List Component has been enhanced to better support and present these tags.

Increased Flex Tag Limit

Flex Tags are an optional metadata field within Flex Items, used to categorize and organize content. Previously limited to three tags per item, each Flex Item can now support up to 15 tags. This expanded tag limit opens up more possibilities for how Flex Items can be organized, filtered, and displayed.

Enhanced Flex List Component Display

To support the increased number of tags, the Flex List Component has been updated to better present tag-based metadata. When tags appear, they now display in a pill-style format, improving readability and making them easier to scan.

Availability

Both the Flex Tag limit increase and improved listing display are now live across all Drupal Cloud sites. If you use Flex Items, you may wish to review and take advantage of the expanded tagging options.
